Zom 100 Live Action

Netflix recently announced that the Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead also called (Zom 100: Zombie ni Naru Made ni Shitai 100 no Koto) manga is getting a live-action movie that will stream on the service. Eiji Akaso will play the protagonist Akira Tendo.

After years of working hard for a soul-ravaging company, the life of 24-year-old Akira has lost its luster. In fact, he lives in an apartment full of garbage and entertains himself by watching a zombie movie with lifeless eyes. He can’t even find the courage to confess his feelings about him to his beautiful colleague, Ohtori.

But when a zombie apocalypse devastates his city, it gives him the boost he needs to live for himself. Now, Akira is on a mission to complete all 100 items on his wish list before he can die.

The update of the new live-action project was directly shared from the official NetflixGeeked twitter page. You can check the official first look on Twitter.

It should also be taken in account that the anime adaptations have had mixed response from the fans. In fact, Netflix has had much better luck adapting manga series than live-action TV and movie projects.

Although, the series has been a huge hit with fans since its launch in Shogakukan’s Monthly Sunday Gene-X magazine. We can safely accept the live-action film will also deliver.
