Arifureta – From Commonplace to World’s Strongest OVA Reveals Release Date, Title & More!

On the official site for the anime adaptation of Arifureta – From Commonplace to World’s Strongest, a new visual & title for the upcoming second season OVA were revealed

This OVA will be titled “Maboroshi no Bouken to Kiseki no Kaikou (Phantom Adventures and Miraculous Encounters)” and its release is scheduled for September 25 in Japan.

This title coincides with one of the short stories of the original light novels. This OVA will be included as a benefit of the special edition of the thirteenth volume of the light novels, which as previously mentioned, will be released on September 25 in Japan. The statement concludes by noting that Satoshi Hino will play the character Naiz Gruen.

Akira Iwanaga (Tegami Bachi, Fukigen na Mononokean) is directing the anime at Asread studios together with Studio Mother, leaving White Fox studios out of this production and replacing Kinji Yoshimoto, who directed the first season.

Shoichi Sato (Corpse Party: Tortured Souls, Minami-ke: Okawari, Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight) is writing and supervising the scripts. Chika Kojima (Big Order, Shuffle, Mirai Nikki) is designing the characters. Ryo Takahashi will return to compose the music.

During a dungeon raid, he is betrayed by one of his teammates and thrown to the bottom of the dungeon. Hajime survives the fall and starts creating weapons to escape the dungeon and become stronger. On his way, he meets vampire Yue, and is later joined by the girl with bunny ears Shea, the perverted dragon Tio, and others.”

With a new director, a new writer and a new composer, it looks like we could be getting a better and a brand-new experience from Arifureta – From Commonplace to World’s Strongest, which is something to look forward to.
