Born from the corpse of his mother, Guts have always faced life and death situations. He survived so long in the cruel world, and that’s when he met Griffith, the leader of the Band of the Hawks.
When he loses a duel with Griffith, he joins him and together, they both conquer impossible wars. But that’s when the reality strike as Guts had to face the absolute dark truth of this world.
Berserk is known as “Godfather of Fantasy Genre.” You have excellent battle sequences, a got-tier story and unforgettable characters.
To top even these aspects, you got one hell of a fantasy setting that immerses you right from the first episode. If you’re a person who reads manga, try it out, in any case.
9. The Ancient Magus’ Bride
Chise Hitori had her life miserable with her mother getting sick of her, passing from a guardian to the next one. She lost all the hope in her life and wishes someone would make her a slave and provide some food.
Then she gets purchased by a mysterious being who takes her to his home, where dragons, fairies and lots of other fantastical beings situate. He tells her that she’ll become his apprentice in magic and bride.
The Ancient Magus’ Bride is one unique fantasy anime. The way the story moves, the characters developed, and the visuals are absolutely stunning.

The Holy Grail war takes place between seven mages who individually summon a mythical hero to fight for them. The Grail grants any wish to the winner they desire.
Shirou is an orphaned high school boy who has only a little magic talent, and one day, he ends up in a tight situation. Unknowingly, he summons a hero of the strongest class and ends up getting sucked into the battle.
Most people often try to ignore or postpone watching this series because it is confusing with the timeline and the story. But if you figure out the order, then it will be worth giving a shot.
In fact, with heaven’s feel movie trilogy, you will witness some greatest works of Ufotable studio. If you’re into action fantasy anime with quite an intriguing plot, we highly recommend you watch this one.
7. The Seven Deadly Sins

When I watched Seven Deadly Sins, I had only one thought in my mind: Wow, that was epic. It has an insane action sequence, a gripping and complex plot, and awesome characters.
Although it was messed up by the animation of the third season, we highly recommend you watch it until the second one and go for manga from thereon.

This one is a Chinese fantasy anime. Typically, Chinese stories are filled with a fantasy theme, but I think this anime suits this list. Although it is a bl (boys’ love), it is for everyone.

3. No Game No Life
Sora and Shiro are two unbeatable gamers, and they go by the name “Blank.” One day, they receive a challenge from an anonymous person and together, they beat him.
The next moment, they both get transported into another world where games decide everything. Isn’t this a perfect world for gamers? But what’s the motive behind it?
No Game No Life a phenomenal anime, and the only drawback is that it has only 12 episodes. You get everything in this anime: ecchi, fantasy, action, adventure, games, and a lot more.
Considering it a short anime, you shouldn’t be getting as much entertainment, but what not can you expect from this exceptional fantasy anime?
2. Spirited Away
Chihiro moves to a new town along with her parents. On their way, they discover an amusement park, and with curiosity, they visit it.

Spirited Away is the greatest animated film of all time (at least in my opinion). The animation quality is top-notch, and the world-setting is so beautiful.
It is truly a result of excellent animation, whimsical execution, and a gripping storyline. If you haven’t watched this anime yet, you probably should do it right away.
1. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Alchemy works with a single principle: you can’t create something from nothing but only by offering something equivalent. Ed and Al are brothers, and they committed a taboo in an attempt to revive their dead mother.
In the process, Al lost his whole body, and Ed lost his leg. Ed sacrifices his hand and affixes Al’s soul to armour to save his brother’s soul. Then begins their journey to find the solution, and they uncover some dark mysteries.
If you have not watched FMAB yet, you’re literally missing the best anime out there (at least for me). But you better watch both FMA and FMAB for the best experience.
It has got the best plot, exciting characters, insane action scenes, an incredible pace and thus, it is flawless in every aspect. It would be best if you didn’t miss such an epic adventure at any cost.
