So, we suggest you read the manga to avoid such situations, and here we bring the list of best manga of all time.

1. Berserk
Born from the corpse of his mother, Guts led his life, facing battles and the cruelty of the world. But when he meets Griffith, the leader of the “Band of the Hawk,” he witnesses another side of this world.
Berserk is known as “The Godfather of all Fantasy Manga” for a reason. From 1989 to the current day, it has never disappointed with its quality of volumes.
It has a fabulous storyline along with an effortful artwork. Throughout the years, it kept improving a lot. So, it is one of the best manga of the decade.
2. Fullmetal Alchemist
Edward and Alphonse embark on a journey to find a solution for the mistake they have done using the power of Alchemy.
Although I prefer anime over manga, I can’t stop myself from praising how good it is. The story takes a bit of time to hook you up, but it is worth the wait.
If you want to read a manga with an addictive storyline and seems perfect in every way, this one is a must-read.
3. One Punch Man
The story tells the tale of a hero named “Saitama” who can kill any villain with just a punch. Could his life get any bored?
When I watched the first season of One Punch Man anime, I didn’t like it at all. Then somehow, I ended up reading its manga and the result is obvious.
The artwork in this manga is excellent, and during action sequences, it gets even better. This manga is a must-read for every anime lover.
4. Monster
Dr. Kenzo Tenma pays a heavy price for the decision he took when saving a kid over a mayor. What disaster awaits him?
Monster is a masterpiece of the thriller genre. It is what you call a “Slow Burner” because it takes a little bit of time to hook you up.
However, once you get into the ride, there’s no exit until you reach the final destination. So, try reading it, and you’ll find out why it is one of the best manga.
5. Kingdom
The story is about Shin, who becomes a general of an army from a normal kid. Will he turn history upside down or give up by witnessing all the bloodshed?
The first thing you’ll do after finishing this manga is not talking a thing. It is surprisingly astounding, making you speechless.
It has a rich history, great characters, and incredible art. In addition, it depicts the politics exactly as how it used to be during the warring states period.
6. Grand Blue
Iori Kitahara‘s life takes quite a big turn when he enters his university and lives in a seaside town. Will this be a good experience or a life-changing moment?
Grand Blue is the best comedy manga I’ve read, and there are too many reasons to like it. The art is superb by taking the references from manga like Attack on Titan.
The timing of every scene is extremely hilarious, and the characters are wholesome. As I said, there are too many good elements in this manga.
7. Yona of the Dawn
The peaceful life of princess Yona shatters when her father (emperor) gets killed. Now she must survive to rise again and set everything right.
Yona of the Dawn is a type of manga that takes at least 5 or 6 chapters to make you hop the ride. But it also stays as a manga that holds a place in your heart.
It gets better and better with every chapter and never gets draggy at all. In other words, it is a perfect manga for manga readers who love a standard story.
8. Given
Ritsuka Uenoyama is bored with everything in his life including his passion: Playing Guitar. But what if a voice comes into his life that can bring out his lost passion back?
Given is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking stories I’ve read. It gets lovely, sad, funny, and never ceases to amaze the reader.
If you have never rated a manga 10/10, then probably you’re going to do it for this one. Yes, it is a beautiful BL (yaoi) manga.
9. Natsume’s Book of Friends
Natsume‘s ability to see spirits comes in handy when his grandmother leaves him a book of spirits. But can he use it to free them and not let them fall into the wrong hands?
Natsume’s Book of Friends is a simple yet intriguing story. The artwork isn’t exceptional, but it is definitely good.
With all these simple aspects, it provided us with a beautiful and pleasant read. It is a unique achievement that is rarely possible.
10. Vinland Saga
The story follows Thorfinn, who leaves his homeland to avenge his father and eventually becomes a key for the greater cause.
Vinland Saga probably has the best character development out there. Being a seinen manga, it proves its worth and brings out the best of every aspect.
Its art is quite amazing and eye-catching, the story is more than enough to spark your interest, but what makes it more worthy is its characters.
11. Skip Beat
Kyoko enters the entertainment industry by challenging her boyfriend, who couldn’t care less about her efforts to make his dream possible. Can she do it?
Skip Beat is one of the best romance manga out there. People usually don’t expect much from it, and that’s why they always get surprised.
The characters are wonderful, the artwork is pretty, and the story never gets off track. Hence, it is a must-read for you.
12. Vagabond
Shinmen Takezo ran from his village at 17 because his villagers treated him as a devil child. Later on, he joins the Toyotomi army to find the battle of Sekigahara.
Vagabond is what you call “hidden treasure in a cave.” Most people pass on it because its premise is not much intriguing.
You’ll be amazed by the level of depiction, and the pace is so good. I’d be lying if I say that I hadn’t read over 50 chapters in a day.
13. Horimiya
Hori-san and Miyamura-kun fall in love with each other after knowing each other’s true selves. How beautiful is their journey going to turn?
Honestly, when I watched Horimiya anime, I was amazed until episode 7. It was fantastic, but later episodes felt like it cut a few parts from the manga.
So, reading the manga was one of the best things I’ve done, and seriously, It was the best rom-com manga I’ve ever read.
14. Claymore
The story about Clare, a half-human, who hunts down yoma, monsters who feed on humans. But she isn’t like any other claymores who doesn’t care about humans’ lives.
Once you start reading Claymore, you can’t possibly leave it in the middle because it is so good. The artwork is terrific, and of course, it isn’t for everyone.
When it comes to action and fantasy themes, Claymore is not in a way inferior to Berserk. So try and give it a shot to know why it is so good.
15. Bloom into You
The story centers around a girl who can’t find a person that can make her heart flutter. But what if she finds a person with such traits and happens to be a girl?
Besides Citrus, Bloom into You is one of my favorite Yuri manga. It not only has some good romance, but also a beautiful concept.
The artwork is beautiful, the interaction between the characters is flawless, and I don’t think you need to think twice before reading this wonderful manga.
16. Tokyo Ghoul
Kaneki goes on a date with beautiful Rize, and he’s excited as hell. But who would’ve thought this would be a big turning point in his life.
Tokyo Ghoul hits right in the feels, whether it be anime or manga. Anime failed at some aspects, but in the manga, you don’t have to face such flaws.

17. Golden Kamuy
Golden Kamuy depicts the journey of Sugimoto, where he sets off to find a treacherous quest using a map. But is he the only one after it?
If you love adventurous manga like One Piece, then you’re going to have a blast with Golden Kamuy. The action scenes are short but too intense.
The story, art, characters, entertainment, and everything in this manga gets full points and so I was clueless why I put it at #17.
18. Tomodachi Game
Tomodachi Game is about a “Friendship Game” where five friends get kidnapped after their class’ trip money was stolen. What’s happening?
The reason for the synopsis being short is because I don’t want to reveal any more of its details. It is an excellent psychological thriller that makes you stunned with every chapter.
With full of plot twists, a great main character, it is a diamond in the rough that you shouldn’t miss at any cost.
19. Orange
Naho receives letters from the future leading to the events that occur in her life. Can she save Kakeru and make him stay in the future that she has on her mind?
Orange took me on a unique journey I’ve never been before. I’ve cried multiple times for the emotional situations it put me in.
Honestly, if you haven’t read this manga yet, you’re really missing out on something amazing. I highly suggest you read this one.
20. Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun
An occult-loving high school girl Nene Yashiro visits a haunted bathroom and discovers Hanako-kun, a ghost. Can her life get any more exciting?
This manga isn’t something incredible that gives you chills, but it is definitely something that can amuse you till the end.
The characters are so cute, the story is standard, and entertainment is off the charts. It is a unique and rare manga you’ll ever find.
21. My Hero Academia
The journey of a kid who earned a superpower from the world’s greatest hero “Almight.” Can he make his dream come true by joining the U.A high school?
My Hero Academia is newcomers’ number one anime and manga as well. It isn’t a story with perfect aspects, and in fact, it lacks a few of them.
But for its moments alone, I’d say it is worth the read or watch. Thus it is one of the best manga out there.
22. I am a Hero
The story centers around Hideo Suzuki, a manga artist who has his life tough, and to top everything, he’s stuck in a zombie apocalypse.
I am a Hero is a phenomenal manga that influences the reader completely. If you’re into a zombie or post-apocalyptic manga, then you’ll love this one.
It is also one of the few mangas that gave me chills. So, consider reading it if you love apocalypse manga.
23. Dorohedoro
Reptile-headed and amnesiac Kaiman embarks on a journey along with his companion Nikaido to find the magic users who made his life miserable. Can he get his revenge?
Dorohedoro can be defined as a manga that is eccentric of all emotions. I mean, it has everything from humor to violence.
It is a mixture of phenomenal story-telling and fantastic artwork. In other words, a brutal masterpiece of the dark genre.
24. Kaichou wa Maid Sama
The prideful life of the Student Council President Misaki Ayuzawa gets squashed by the school’s hottie Usui Takumi when he witnesses her working at the maid cafe.
Kaichou wa Maid Sama has a simple premise, yet it delivers a charming romance piece. The artwork is beautiful, and the characters are pretty amusing.
If you love the shoujo genre, then you shouldn’t be missing this manga at all. After all, it is also one of the best manga out there.
25. Kengan Ashura
Kengan Ashura sets in Japan where business deals are done through brutal fighting, and in this environment, Ouma Tokita strives to become the greatest martial artist.
The first thing that comes to my mind whenever I hear this name is its insane action scenes and the magical artwork.
Every inch of artwork gives you shivers, and the way they compiled every fight leaves you speechless.
If you’re into reading martial arts manga, then Kengan Ashura might be your cup of tea.

I think this list is still incomplete because there are tons of other mangas. And some of them might be better than the ones on the list.
However, I’ve read my fair share of manga, and these are the ones I admire the most.
