best wit studio anime list

There are many animation studios, but some of them tend to stand out among the rest. In that sense, I feel like WIT Studio does a splendid job of bringing out the best in every project.

So, if you’re looking for some best WIT Studio anime that can entice you with detailed animation, then you’ll find the best list here. Let’s get started, shall we?

Best Anime Made by WIT Studio!

10. The Empire of Corpses

The Empire of Corpses- WIT Studio Anime

The story sets in an alternate version of the 19th century, and the world is creating the armies of the dead with corpse reanimation technology. To revive his friend, John Watson, a young medical student, tries to replicate the work of Dr. Victor.

This method will even bring his soul back to the body, and to make it possible, he’ll even fight against the odds with the government. But he had yet to find the research notes before they fell into the wrong hands.

Before you start watching this movie, get prepared to adjust to the concept and the animation. It might make you force yourself to watch it, but once you get to a certain point, you’ll enjoy the movie endlessly.

The concept, the characters, the animation, and the execution of the whole aspects are spectacular. I was glad for not dropping it in the middle, and if you haven’t watched this fantastic WIT Studio anime movie yet, you should do it.

9. After the Rain

After the Rain- WIT Studio Anime

Akira Tachibana used to be a star of the track team, but when she got injured during the practice, she had to quit it. She got depressed since she always loved it so much, and one rainy day, she stopped at a restaurant.

Then she sees the restaurant manager, who is a 45-year-old man but looks like a decent young man. Soon, she takes a part-time job at the restaurant, and despite the age gap, she falls for him. But will this love story work out?

Although you think it’s weird for a high school girl to fall in love with a 45-year-old man, I think it’s beautiful. The feelings are always sudden, and no one should judge whether it be usual or unusual.

This anime portrays it perfectly with a solid story and a beautiful animation. If you love age gap romance anime shows, this one is definitely an excellent pick for you, and WIT Studio also needs an appreciation.

8. Hozuki’s Coolheadedness

Hazuki's Coolheadedness- WIT Studio Anime

The Hell in Japan consists of 272 sub-divisions, and for all of them, the demon Hozuki is the head. He had to make sure that everything was going smooth while his King Enma judges the dead.

He’s calm and level-headed, but when he gets serious, every one of his subordinates and even his King had to keep themselves in check. Still, can he run the afterlife smoothly?

This one is a dark comedy anime with lots of information related to Japanese folklore and culture. Just a tip, don’t watch it while sipping a cool drink because you’ll end up choking.

The artwork is spectacular, and the animation took it to a whole new level. The attention to detail of every scene is simply astonishing, just as we’d expect from the WIT Studio.

7. Seraph of the End

Seraph of the End- WIT Studio Anime

An epidemic kills every person on the earth except the children below thirteen, and the vampires arise from the shadows to rule the world. They use the living humans as the livestock to extract their blood.

Yuichiro and their friends try to escape from their clutches, and in the process, everyone gets killed except him. Somehow he gets to a place where humans live and waits for the day to exterminate all the vampires.

Seraph of the End was a well-executed anime for what it has to offer. The whole concept of a post-apocalyptic setting with vampires and humans fighting against third-party prowess is pretty cool.

The action scenes are spectacular, artwork and animation are splendid (just WIT Studio things). The characters were developed very well, and even though you feel like something is missing in the anime, you’ll thoroughly enjoy it.

6. Great Pretender

Great Pretender- WIT Studio Anime

Somehow Edamura ended up becoming a swindler, and he lives off by scamming others. But when he encountered Makoto, he got scammed by him instead of scamming him.

He follows Makoto to Los Angeles, making him his rival to show who is the best swindler between the two. Soon, Edamura realizes that he had got more than bargained for when Makoto says their target is the mafia boss of the West Coast.

Great Pretender is one of the most brilliant anime I’ve ever watched. It is also unique from the WIT Studio anime I’ve seen with the animation and artwork so far.

It has fantastic characters, mesmerizing animation used multiple languages according to the region, and a lot more look forward. If you’re planning on watching this one, don’t hold back and get on with it.

5. Vinland Saga

Vinland Saga- WIT Studio Anime

Ever since he was young, Thorfinn grew up by listening to the stories of sailors who traveled to a peaceful land known as Vinland. It would be free of wars, and the world he is living in is the exact opposite of that.

However, when he travels with his father Thors, he has witnessed his murder, and now he’s driven by vengeance. He decides to kill his father’s killer by dueling him. Could this new journey change the world forever?

The Tale of Vikings has never been a boring subject, and this anime portrays it with such perfection. It has a great message in the end, and WIT Studio killed the visuals and animation (as we’d expect).

Although it appears to be a historical war anime, it isn’t just about violence and barbarism. It portrays despair, love, emotions, conviction, and intense action from time to time. I really loved the anime, and it is one of the best anime made by WIT Studio.

4. The Ancient Magus’ Bride

The Ancient Magus' Bride- WIT Studio Anime

Chise Hitori’s childhood was hell as her own mother told her that she should’ve never been born, and she’s been passed from various guardians who treated her like a low life. Now she’s fifteen and sold herself into slavery.

She just wants a home, but she gets purchased by a mysterious person who later introduces her to a whole new world where animals talk, dragons and fairies exist. In addition, she was about to become his bride and magic apprentice.

I may not object to a few reviews on the anime about the plot being cliche, but in terms of animation, it is utterly beautiful. The art designs were so mesmerizing that I couldn’t take my eyes off of them for even one second.

Although the climax could’ve been a little better, the main point of the anime was to maintain the structural plot in the beginning. Overall, Ancient Magus’ Bride is a fascinating anime, and if nothing else, you should watch it for animation.

3. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress- WIT Studio Anime

The story takes place during the industrial revolution where the world becomes a place for the undead (Kabane), and humans live by building fortress stations and barricading themselves.

But one day, one of the main stations gets raided by the undead, and the survivors try to escape through fortresses to another station. How will they survive these monsters, which are pretty hard to kill.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is one of those anime shows which made me notice the true efforts of WIT Studio. The animation looks so similar to Attack on Titan, and in some situations, it even surpassed it.

But this anime is more than just bright visuals and quality character designs. A good storyline, intense action moments, well-developed characters, and a lot more you can expect from it.

2. Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song

Vivy: Flourite Eye's Song- WIT Studio Anime

The story sets in an A. I theme park named NiaLand, which lets people’s dreams come to life. Vivy is an autonomous android who works there and makes people happy with her singing.

When an A. I teddy bear named Matsumoto meets Vivy; it reveals that it has come 100 years from the future, and a war will break out among the A. I and humans. How will they stop it?

Perhaps, only the word Masterpiece will be suitable for this anime’s animation. WIT Studio has done it once again with breathtaking visuals and exquisite details in every scene.

It is one of the brightest gems with a pretty exciting story, and in so many ways, it is the perfect anime. I can’t appreciate WIT Studio enough for bringing this anime to life with its spectacular efforts.

1. Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan- WIT Studio Anime

When humanity becomes extinct due to man-eating giants known as Titans, a small population lives behind the enormous walls to survive. However, a Colossal Titan breaks the first wall one unlucky day.

Eren witnesses his mother getting eaten by a Titan and determines to exterminate every single titan from the face of the earth. Will he be able to do it?

I don’t really need to define this anime, do I? After all, Attack on Titan is the kind of anime that breaks the internet with every season. Although the final season has been handed out to MAPPA, the first three seasons were a work of masterpiece.

While the anime is already out of the league, WIT Studio made it even more impressive with the quality animation. Seriously, I wished the fourth season was animated by WIT Studio instead of MAPPA (not that I didn’t like MAPPA’s, though).

Conclusive Thoughts!

I’ve watched almost 3/4th of WIT Studio anime which are decent enough, and I can say these are the ten that felt so amazing regardless of what the reviews say. WIT Studio has played an absolutely significant role in making these anime successful.

So, are you satisfied with the list? Do you think is there any anime that deserves a spot on the top 10 list? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
