Recently, Netflix posted the first teaser for a new WIT studio’s original anime film titled “Bubble” and revealed a new key visual related to it.
The film will be released worldwide on Netflix on April 28, 2022, and in Japan on May 13, 2022. You can see the key visuals released by both WIT Studio and Netflix and you can view them here.

The franchise/production studio also revealed a few staff members, and they include:
- Director: Tetsuro Araki (Previously worked on Attack on Titan)
- Screenplay Writer: Gen Urobuchi
- Character Designer: Takeshi Obata (Previously worked on Death Note)
- Composer: Hiroyuki Sawano (Hiroyuki Sawano)
- Animation Studio: WIT Studio
The cast members of the anime film include:
- Jun Shison
- Mamoru Miyano
- Yuki Kaji
- Tasuku Hatanaka
Here is the synopsis for the film,
The story takes place in Tokyo, where bubbles broke the laws of gravity, and Tokyo has completely been cut off from the outside world. It has become a battlefield for the parkour teams as they leap from one building to building. Hibiki is a young ace who has a dangerous playstyle, and one day, he makes a reckless move and gets saved by a mysterious girl named Uta. Will their encounter leads to the revelation of the world’s mysteries?
So, from the looks of it, it looks pretty awesome. The staff, cast, and plot are pretty intriguing to me as well. What about you? Are you excited about this movie? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
