Hajime no Ippo anime Crunchyroll

While there have been so many anime coming out this fall into Crunchyroll, this one is quite surprising. It wouldn’t have been much surprising if it was any other anime, but it’s Hajime no Ippo.

Recently, Crunchyroll announced that it will add the Hajime no Ippo-Mashiba vs. Kimura OVA (original video anime) and the 76th episode of the original anime in its catalog.

Hajime no Ippo OVA

These will be only available in U.S and Canada since neither the 76th episode nor the OVA had been previously available there. So, it’s a good chance to binge-watch the anime since we also have these now.

Crunchyroll already has Hajime no Ippo anime, and it’s been streaming for a long time now. If you’re unfamiliar with the anime’s synopsis, we can help with that.

Ippo Makunouchi is a gentle person and always lacks confidence, so it’s easier for him to get targeted by bullies at school. Somehow, he gets rescued by a professional boxer and decides to become a boxer himself. But before even attempting to join Kamogawa Boxing Club, he needs to spar with Miyata, and it seems he can’t even survive the first round.

So, if you haven’t seen the anime yet, go and stream it right away on Crunchyroll. If you’re excited about this new addition, let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
