Recently at New York Comic Con, Crunchyroll announced a full lineup of anime premieres, updates on new series, and many more.
Just to name a few, Crunchyroll-Hime’s debut in “Mitrasphere” and the upcoming series with the collaboration of Adult Swim and Crunchyroll “Shenmue.”
1. High Guardian Spice Announcement!
Crunchyroll Original series “High Guardian Spice“, created and produced by Raye Rodriguez, will premiere on October 26 and contain 12 episodes.
Crunchyroll also revealed a new trailer and announced the voice cast for the shows:
- Briana Leon as Rosemary (An enthusiastic adventurer who wants to become a Guardian)
- Lauren White as Sage (Rosemary’s best friend and a witch who is specialized in old magic)
- Amber Romero by Parsley (An expert blacksmith and a dwarf)
- Michelle Deco as Thyme (An elf and an incredible archer)
- AJ Beckles as Mandrake (A powerful witch and a shapeshifter)
- Anthony Brandon Walker as Professor Hakone (A Guardian and Professor of battle tactics)
- Barbara Goodson as Parnelle (youngest student at High Guardian Academy)
- Cam Clarke as Neppy Cat (just a cat that would love to hand out at the academy)
- Julia Kaye as Slime Boy (a second-year witch who loves monsters and music)
- Katie McVay as Amaryllis (witch and school bully)
- Liisa Lee as Lavender (Rosemary’s mother and a powerful Guardian)
- Raye Rodriguez as Professor Caraway (Guardian and professor of sacred alphabets)

2. FreakAngels Announcement!
Crunchyroll also unveiled a new trailer for the new Orignal series “FreakAngels,” which will premiere on Crunchyroll in 2022!

3. Adult Swim and Crunchyroll Collaborative Announcement!
Crunchyroll also announced a collaborative project, and here are the details:
- “Blade Runner: Black Lotus” is the new original series from Crunchyroll and Adult Swim. It wil premiere on November 13, and you can see the trailer and key visual below.
- “Shenmue the Animation” is another original series based on iconic SEGA title. You can find the first look below.
Finally, a bonus to everything. Crunchyroll-Hime, the brand’s princess mascot, will make an appearance in “Mitrasphere,” the latest multiplayer online RPG of Crunchyroll Games.
In this special in-game event, Crunchyroll-Hime and Yuzu get transported into a new world known as “Mitrasphere.” As they find themselves in the center of Edol Town, they bump into Sky Pirates, who seem pretty dangerous. Soon, they join hands with a few people to uncover the plans of Sky Pirates.
Although this crossover is limited, it is filled with new adventures and lots of free rewards. Download the game for iOS and Android and players can keep an eye on their Crunchyroll Games social handles for more updates!
