Dorohedoro manga is going to get a new chapter!
As we all know, Dorohodero is a popular manga which began serializing from 1999 to 2018 and comprised of 23 volumes. And recently, the manga was taken into adaption by Mappa studio. Well, with the manga bring over after many years, it still feels like there should’ve been more chapters. It seems like God has answered our prayers.
This year’s March issue of Shogakukan‘s Monthly Shonen Study publishes a new 14-page chapter of Q Hayashida‘s Dorohedoro manga on Wednesday. And the one-shot includes the Devil’s prank on Ebisu.
Dorohedoro is a pure science-fiction manga debuted Shogakukan’s Monthly Ikki magazine officially in 2000, later due to some issues it moved to Hibana and then to Monthly Shonen Sunday. As it is of a total of 23 volumes, the final volume shipped in 2018, and this also includes the main story’s ending.

On January 12, the manga finally adapted into an anime series by the studio Mappa. And the Viz media is in charge of publishing the manga in English and it describes the story of the first volume as:
In a city so dismal it’s known only as “the Hole,” a clan of Sorcerers has been plucking people off the streets to use as guinea pigs for atrocious “experiments” in the black arts. In a dark alley, Nikaido found Caiman, a man with a reptile head and a bad case of amnesia. To undo the spell, they’re hunting and killing the Sorcerers in the Hole, hoping that eventually, they’ll kill the right one. But when En, the head Sorcerer, gets word of a lizard-man slaughtering his people, he sends a crew of “cleaners” into the Hole, igniting a war between two worlds.
The anime is currently streaming in Japan on Netflix, and it premiered even before it began premiering on Japanese television. The anime will have 12 television episodes and six new magic bonus Original Video Animations with we consider as extra episodes. And these six OVAs are said to be released on June 17, 2020.
