Dr. Stone Manga Gets 2nd Novel This Year

Dr. Stone is a top-rated series of 2019. With the completion of the first season, the excitement for the next season is quite natural. Since the manga is still going on, we don’t know how many seasons it’s going to be. The most important thing is Dr. Stone gets the second novel this year with a more entertaining plot and new chapters.

At the Jump Festa ’20 event in December, newspapers in which Shueisha’s Jump J-Books posted images on Thursday were distributed. And one of those newspapers revealed that Boichi and  Riichirou Inagaki‘s Dr. Stone manga is getting a second novel this year. The novel will be featuring the characters

  • Ukyo
  • Tsukasa
  • Ryusui
  • Asagiri Gen

As per the story of the second novel, it includes the aftermath of the events of the battle between Tsukasa and Senku.

The Dr. Stone manga series adaption debuted on July 5 and aired for a total of 24 episodes and is streaming on Crunuchyroll and Funimation. It was premiered on Toonami on August 24.

The first novel of Dr. Stone shipped in February 2019, which featured the two stories. The first story follows the Senku in his high school before the petrification. And the second story follows Chrome, Suika, and Kohaku, who form a musical band. With being released in the market, it gained a lot of popularity within no time.

Boichi and Inagaki introduced the manga in Weekly  Shonen Jump in March 2017. The manga is available both digitally and in print. Viz Media publishes the manga online, which is available for anyone to read. Boichi drew a Dr. Stone reboot: Byakuya manga that ran for nine chapters in Weekly Shonen Magazine starting on October 28, 2019.

After 3700 years spent trapped in rock, science geek Senku somehow gets revived from his petrified state. And he discovers that the petrification has a cure with nital, and Senku restores his best friend, Taiju. With the help of Taiju, Senku decides to rebuild the civilization from the Stone age.

But unfortunately, he revives a person who is unbelievably strong but with entirely different motives. There you go, the war between Science and Strength, who wins? Since Dr. Stone was an incredible hit in 2019, the second novel’s expectations will be even higher compared to the present ongoing manga.
