Will There be Elfen Lied Season 2?
Honestly, it would make more sense to get a couple of OVAs to explain the things before the end, since a second season seems hopeless for now. But in reality, Elfen Lied wasn’t received well from many people and for that reason, we really need a reboot.
So, the franchise doesn’t seem to be interested in making another season anytime soon. Maybe in the future, a reboot seems more plausible. Well, we can only hope for the best and wait for it.
Possibilities of Elfen Lied Season 2!
It’s been 17 years for the Elfen Lied season 1 and 15 years for English Dub. Resuming the second season requires a lot of budget and effort. They need to bring back the voice actors, and they may not sound the same as in the first season.
Even if they consider hiring different voice actors, it wouldn’t feel good for the audience. So, the only option we have left is a Reboot. A lot of anime series have been getting reboots, like Fruits Basket and Evangelion.
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say, Elfen Lied might receive a reboot someday. However, we don’t know how long it takes to even remake/reboot it.
Elfen Lied Manga Continuation After Season 1!
Here’s a twist for you. The anime changed a lot of content from the original story, and even the ending of season 1 was a little different. For example, manga introduces a main character in Chapter 43 which doesn’t exist in anime.
The Chapter 72 is where the anime leaves off, but if you continue from there, you’ll be lost because of the differences. So, we highly recommend you read it from the beginning, and you can have one hell of a read.
Elfen Lied Season 2 Episode 1 English Dub!
Elfen Lied has English Dub for Season 1 for all episodes. However, there is no season 2 so far and if we get one, English dub will obviously be available. Furthermore, you can watch Elfen Lied in Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime Video if you want to re-watch/not watched it.

Since there is no Elfen Lied season 2 announcement yet, there is no official trailer for Elfen Lied second season unless you want to look at some fan-made trailers on YouTube.
