JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Watch Order!

1. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood/Battle Tendency

Here is the first part you need to begin this incredible anime with, and it is a pretty good start. The first two parts of the anime came under the production of David Production back in 2012.

The series follows the Joestars master the martial art of Hamon (in dub it is Ripple) and faces the mystery of evil Stone Mask that turns people into vampires. The first part adapts two arcs Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency making it the first season.

Even though it is more of an introduction to JoJo’s world, it speeds up the things with incredible pace. But you need to keep one thing in your mind that is you’re watching a 33-year-old manga’s story.

Comparing to the other parts, this one is less entertaining, but you won’t gain anything from skipping it. So, we recommend you not to miss it. Thus, it is the first part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure watch order.

2. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders

While the first season comprises of two parts or arcs, we can notice this one as part 3. Even though the first season focuses on the introduction of the story and characters, part 3 is mostly recognizable in terms of the main characters.

This part concerns Joseph Joestar as he tries to save the Holy Kujo, their daughter, and mother from a spiritual force that’s trying to kill her slowly.

Starduster Crusaders is the most popular part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure because most of the fun details and references are taken from it. And unlike the first and second parts, this part makes you sad emotionally.

So, grab some tissues before watching the third part, which broke into two parts: Stardust Crusaders and Stardust Crusaders: Battle in Egypt. Thus, it is the second part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure watch order.

3. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable

The fourth part of JoJo’s saga is Diamond is Unbreakable, and this part shows you a drastic shift in the style of the series. Compared to the previous parts, it looks more colourful and in a new animated way. .

This part follows the story of protagonists Josuke Higashikata, Koichi Hirose, Okuyasu Nijimura, Rohan Kishibe, and Jotaro Kujo, who encounter a serial killer with a twisted-self nature.

Besides the above aspects, this part is also famous for creating a trend of Araki naming stands with songs like Red Hot Chili Pepper, Crazy Diamond, and Killer Queen.

With all being said, the fourth part is something you shouldn’t miss. Thus, it is the third part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure watch order.

4. Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe

Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe is a part of JoJo’s saga that focusses mostly on the detour of Rohan Kishibe who is one of the protagonists of Diamond is Unbreakable. It is a one-shot series that mostly digs a bit deep in the fourth part’s story. Unlike the fourth part, it is much more of a thriller anime than a shounen action anime.

The story follows Rohan Kishibe, who travels the world in search of inspiration for his next manga series. With his strange ability known as Stand, he learns everything about any person by altering their memories.

Well, if I were you, I wouldn’t do such things as skipping this part. Thus, it is the fourth part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure watch order.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind

Golden Wind is the most recent part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and it follows the mafia organization Passione who tries to make a living in Italy.

Taking place after the two years after the events of Diamond is Unbreakable, it portrays Giorno Giovanna (referred to as GioGio), who is the son of Dio. Along with a few others like Guido Mista, Narancia Ghirga, and more, he sets on a mission to figure out the identity of the organization’s boss.

If you can observe the difference between each part, this part lies between Diamond is Unbreakable and Stardust in terms of Tone and Style. Besides its pure darkness, this show features the best part in the whole JoJo’s saga, where three members of the Passione perform the “Torture Dance” that mesmerizes the audience.

If, by any chance, you didn’t have time to watch this series, at least spare some time for that scene. When you see it, you’ll regret yourself for not watching this series. Thus, it is the fifth part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure watch order.

Even though these OVAs aren’t meant to relate with the story, these are still a part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure watch order.
