Kengan Ashura Anime’s 2nd Season Premieres on Netflix in 2023. Yabako Sandrovich’s Kengan Ashura manga’s official Twitter account has announced the return of the anime with a brand new second season.
Netflix will once again be the primary distributor of the anime, with the official announcement, the franchise also provided us with a visual of the upcoming season. An exact date of the premiere is yet to be confirmed as of now.
The first season was directed by Seiji Kishi (Yuki Yuna Is a Hero, Danganronpa The Animation) and Kazuaki Morita (Tsuki ga Kirei, Assassination Classroom) designed the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi of Team-MAX’s (Fairy Tail, Naruto Shippuden) composed the music.
Kengan Ashura was launched by Sandrovich with illustrations made by Daromeon in the Manga ONE app in 2012 and ended the series somewhere in August 2018. With a new arc being launched in the Manga ONE app in January 2019.
Synopsis:-
In the world of Kengan Ashura, Businessmen and merchants use gladiator-like fighters to settle their disputes with each other. Armed with nothing but to fight bare fists with their opponents. Soon enters a strong and mysterious contender named Oma Tokita, whose nickname is Ashura, who partakes in these vicious and bloody battles.
While the official news of the second season is great for the fans, still a few of them feel bitter about the prolonged wait which in the end extended about a few years since the first season. If you haven’t watched the first season yet, it is amazing. You can stream it on Netflix!
