Mononogatari Manga Gets TV Anime Very Soon!

Recently, the manga creator Oniguso confirmed that there will be an anime adaptation for Monogatari manga on his Twitter account. To celebrate this anime adaptation, Onigunso also drew a couple of illustrations.

This manga will be centered on tsukumogami which have known to be spirits that possess inhabited aged objects. As for the story, the protagonist Hyouma Kunato despises these spirits since one of them took away something very important to him. Later he moves to Kyoto to live with Botan Nagatsuki, a girl who loves tsukumogami and treats them as a family.

Onigunso launched this manga in April 2014 in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump magazine and later in 2016, it got switched to Ultra Jump. If you can’t wait until the anime gets out, you can read the manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website.
