My Hero Academia, an action anime aired in 2016, and the manga in 2014 has already been one of the best Shounen franchises. But it seems like it will no longer become a manga that might surpass One Piece, as the author said before. The creator, Kohei Horikoshi, plans to wrap up the story to its conclusion soon.
Creator Says My Hero Academia Ends Soon Rather than Later!
As the fifth season of My Hero Academia is set to come back in 2021, the manga is in the War arc and bringing it closer to an end. The news of manga reaching the end soon is definitely a shock for MHA fans.
Well, this isn’t the first time Kohei-san discussing about ending the series once and for all. In fact, he thought My Hero Academia Heroes Rising should act as a finale to the franchise. Later on, he decided to take a different route for the ending.
That is also why he introduced a new character (Villain nine) as All for One’s apparent heir on the isolated island. With class 1-A fighting against him, we’ve already had a glint of hint pointing to the end of the My Hero Academia manga.
Aitai Ki Mochi, a Twitter User, shared a translation of Kohei Horikoshi-san’s spilled news in the JumpFesta 2021 panel. With this new announcement, he indirectly conveyed that the manga will end sooner than later. Here’s the translation of Aitai Ki Mochi’s tweet:
2020 has already been tough, and manga like Demon Slayer, The Promised Neverland, and Attack on Titan are coming to an end. In addition to these, losing My Hero Academia manga would be an even bigger blow to the fans.
