My Hero One’s Justice 2  available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows

Very few anime video games justify their source of adaption. And some of them develop their own or mixed storyline, which is not likable by most of the users.

My Hero One’s Justice has been an excellent experience to the users by not all features, but if we consider genre like action, it does Justice. And this year, the game is back with My Hero One’s Justice 2. How good is it? Is it yet the best one of the series? We’ll see to that in the review. Let’s get started then!

My Hero One’s Justice 2

My Hero One’s Justice 2 is a video game based on the manga of My Hero Academia. It initially released on March 13, 2020. The developer studio of the game is Bykings who are famous for their works on Gunslinger Stratos series and My Hero One’s Justice. Bandai Namco Entertainment published the game in both the US and Europe. It is available in the gaming platforms- Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.

Modes

Story mode

My Hero One’s Justice 2 has followed the exact events of the manga, and the storyline doesn’t deviate from it. The story mode is excellent, and it sets in both Hero and Villain’s point of view, and the most exciting part is, the game lets the player experiment with their Justice.

Mission mode

Alongside the Story mode, you’ll have a mission mode in which you manage your own Hero Offices, complete missions, and earn money and fame to expand your and can also recruit more characters. This mode is exciting, and it is more like a strategy than action.

Arcade mode

I think Arcade mode is the best of all three modes. This mode tells you how My Hero One’s Justice 2 is always rewarding us with its new features. This mode has three routes for each character and rewards the player with six wins in a row. Probably this mode is specially made for the people who mash the buttons and soak up the melodrama of the anime.

Characters

Considering the adaption of the story from My Hero Academia, the characters are plenty, which makes players choose their favorite character. The one thing that My Hero One’s Justice 2 stings is how much has it changed since the first game. There were only a few developments in the characters compared to the first game. But still, it is a well-made and pretty anime fighter arena game.

Animation

Not only for an anime series, but the animation is also and will be one of the main aspects a video game should have. Because the user’s experience depends on the visuals of the game, and luckily, My Hero One’s Justice 2 has improved a lot in animation and graphics. I think it won’t be easy to convey how good is animation compared to the first game. Well, you might have to take a look at the above gameplay. The animation is simply amazing for My Hero One’s Justice 2, and the user will have a good experience when playing it.

Co-op mode

You might get bored of playing story modes and completing missions and trying to get more liking towards the game. For the people who are looking for the company in the arena, you can opt for co op-battles up to three players. As you’d expect, there is also support for online play; however, you will need a Nintendo Switch Online membership to access it.

Conclusion

Besides these aspects, My Hero One’s Justice 2 has some improvements and also a few flaws which might damage the user’s experience. Naturally, it is based on the same setting as the previous one. Instead, a few characters are added, and more importantly, the user’s animation experience is much better.

And the Camera is obscured once in a while to improve the game’s experience. But even though it lasts only a few seconds, if we’re in a fast-paced fighting game, it will get in our way. And sometimes, your own character ends up blocking your view of your opponent. To improve such flaws, a few dodging moves have been added, yet it didn’t fix these, but they did reduce the obscuration.

Players also have a bonus feature-By winning with an Ultra Move; you can earn new unlockable content, such as customization items. And after you complete this sizable story, a Villain Side option appears that helps you to play in the enemy’s perspective. In my opinion, this is the best feature it has.
