Revy is one of the most badass female anime characters out there, and if you haven’t watched the Black Lagoon anime yet, at least do it for her. To sum it up, she’s crazy but a likable character.

- Traits: Sweet, Quiet, and Kuudere.
Some people might think she is an overrated character, but I can’t entirely agree with the statement. She literally carried the story, and she might have one or two flaws in character development, but she’s a compelling character.

- Traits: Caring, Lovable, and Air-Headed.
After watching Fruits Basket anime, every person feels they want a Tohru in their life. She’s one of the most lovable anime characters and deserves all the love she gets.

- Traits: Calm, Strong, and Sexy.
Saeko Busujima is the kind of girl who gets like a thousand date invitations if she were a real person. She’s hot, sexy, strong, and a badass girl. These are all just a few reasons why she is one of the most popular female anime characters.

- Traits: Innocent, Caring, and Strong.
Raphtalia was the best girl among the anime in recent years (excluding Zero Two). She’s so caring, and the relationship between her and Noafumi feels so genuine. She’s the best character in the anime, along with Naofumi.

- Traits: Manipulative, Blonde-Haired, and Intriguing.
I guess there is no character in webtoons other than Rachel who gets this much hate. Fans hate her to the depths and actually never see her as an interesting character. She deserves all the hate, and that’s why she’s truly popular.

- Traits: Tsundere, Intelligent, and Caring.
Makise Kurisu is a definition of Tsundere, and that’s precisely why she’s popular. While she’s cute and deserves to be the main girl, she is always aware of what’s going on in the anime.

Selfless Nagisa is the definition of a perfect girlfriend, and quite a lot of times, she’s cute and adorable. You either hate her or love her too much, and it was the latter in my case. Since Clannad is such a popular anime, she’s also quite famous.

Taiga Aisaka is the main female lead of Toradora anime and one of the best Tsundere characters. She might get annoying a few times, but you can’t possibly hate her.

Erina wields the best palate in the world, “God’s Tongue,” and even though she seems proud, her nature is quite pleasing. She loves Soma and admires her father more than anything. Also, she’s quite pretty, and that gives all the reasons why she’s famous.

Violet Evergarden is the most beautiful and innocent character ever. I mean, she doesn’t even know the meaning of “I Love You.” If such a girl exists in reality, she deserves a whole world of happiness, and the anime is just so charismatic and emotional roller coaster.

If you ask a few people who their favorite waifu is, I’m pretty sure you’ll find most of them saying the name “Rias Gremory.” She’s most boys’ fantasy (including me), and she’s popular because every man wants her.

Who wouldn’t know Kanna Kamui? She’s like the best loli character ever (it’s just my opinion). Her innocent nature makes her more adorable, and her influence over anime fans worldwide is unimaginable.

- Traits: Caring, Shy, and Hard-Working.
Ochaco Uraraka is the main female lead in MHA, and she often blushes when someone mentions Deku. Since she plays quite a role in this popular anime, she has emerged as one of the popular anime female characters.
