After airing for more than 15 years, Naruto entertained us through thick and thin. It made us cry, happy, and god knows how many emotions we felt when we saw this amazing show.
There is a reason why it is one of the top and most preferred anime for every newbie. Today, I am going to list the top 10 strongest Naruto characters ranked. So let’s get into it!

10. Nagato Uzumaki
Nagato, also known as the Pain of six paths, leader of the organization called Akatsuki. He destroyed the Leaf village in seconds, and he could control the husk of ten tails. And the one thing he gets most hate for is he even killed our beloved Jiraya sensei.
Because of the traumatic experiences, he wants to create a peaceful world without any chaos and war through war. He aims to collect all the Tailed beasts and seal them in the Gedo statue. There are more than enough reasons to think why he is one of the strongest Naruto anime characters.
9. Obito Uchiha
Obito, initially known as Tobi, everyone thought he was just a side character, but when events unfolded, we found out how important he was to the story. Obito was saved and trained by Madara, who was in his last days.
He later hid his identity with a mask, took on Madara’s plan of infinite Tsukuyomi, and started the great ninja war with five great nations. He also managed to seal the ten-tailed beast inside him and became the junchiriki of ten-tailed beasts.
8. Might Guy
Might guy, a master of taijutsu, and a jounin of Leaf village. Sensei of team 10. Yes, he makes it to the top 10, and Guy deserves it. He literally beat the shit out of Madra Uchiha, the guy who was equal to Hashirama.
He is a very driven and committed man, both to his principles and to his training, constantly pushing himself to go beyond his limits. Guy considers Kakashi an equal opponent, but Kakashi said that Guy had surpassed him during the great Shinobi war.
7. Itachi Uchiha
Itachi Uchiha, the elder brother of Sasuke Uchiha, part of the Akatsuki organization, collected tailed beasts and sealed them. Most importantly, he killed his entire clan one night except his brother.
Although Sasuke considers him his greatest enemy and wants to kill him, but the reality is different. Itachi was a child prodigy of the Uchiha clan who saw the war in his young days and wanted peace at any cost. Even Tobirama, who hated Uchiha, liked him when he found out that an Uchiha like him existed.
6. Minato Uzumaki
Minato Namikaze is also known as the fourth Hokage of the leaf village is the Father of Naruto Uzumaki and the “Yellow Flash of the Leaf.” He is called the fastest ninja and sacrificed himself to save the leaf village from Kurama’s attack (nine-tailed fox).
He sealed half of Kurama’s chakra within him and half in Naruto just after birth and sacrificed his life. Minato created ‘Rasengan,’ the most famous Jutsu, now used by Naruto just by observing tailed beasts.
5. Madara Uchiha
Madara was a legendary leader of the Uchiha clan. He founded the Leaf village with Hashirama Senju, who was his childhood friend and rival. He was so strong that he literally dropped meteors on allied shinobi forces and fought them head-on.
Even the five kages were nothing in front of him and proved why he was called Madara by controlling and sealing all the tailed beasts single-handedly. He aimed to put everyone in a deep slumber and put them in a happy dream. Seriously, the best Naruto villain ever!
4. Hashirama Senju
God of shinobi, unmatched ninja prowess, founder of Leaf village Hashirama Senju was the First Hokage. He established the Leaf village to ensure peace, and children would not have to die in war.
Even Madara said no one has ever come close to Hashirama’s powers after his death. It was said that he could fight for a day and still have enough chakra left to fight at his top strength. He didn’t even require hand signs to perform ninjutsu, and his healing abilities were in their own league.
3. Kaguya Otsutsuki
Kaguya Otsutsuki was a member of the Otsusuki clan branch family and mother of Hagoromo, the sage of six paths and the Hamura. She was the first being on earth to eat divine fruit and she was the essence of chakra.
She was strong enough to put his fellow-clansman Ishiki near death and could travel in between dimensions, erase people’s memories, and put them to sleep easily. It took Hagormo and Hamura months just to seal her. And to top that, she had Byakugan and Rinne Sharingan.
2. Sasuke Uchiha
The last surviving member of the Uchiha clan after his elder brother slaughtered the whole clan except him. Friend and rival of Naruto. Currently, he has a Rinnegan and an Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.
He was mentored by one of the sanins, Orochimaru. He helped Naruto in the fourth great ninja war to seal Kaguya Otsusuki. He killed Danzo in revenge when he found the truth about his brother.
Sasuke protects the village from shadows and is also known as supporting kage. Madara himself stated that he would have chosen Sasuke over Obito as an apprentice if he had been born years earlier.
1. Naruto Uzumaki
From I’ll be Hokage one day to him being a Hokage every one has grown. Naruto is the main character of this series, as the name suggests. His story begins as an orphan boy hated by villagers because he had a beast inside him.
Naruto works hard and uses his favorite talk-no jutsu to defeat enemies, and he was the one who sealed Kaguya with Sasuke and ended the 4th great ninja war. Even Hashirama recognized him as a strong shinobi during the war.
He literally improved himself from being a clumsy boy who couldn’t even make a single shadow clone to making thousands of them. He is the son of the fourth Hokage and Kushina Uzumaki who was the previous Jhinchuriki for the nine tails and was the student of famous legendary Sanin Jiraya the great.
You can keep going, but his achievements are too great to put in just a couple of paragraphs. Anyhow, he is the strongest naruto character, and the show name itself is Naruto. What would you expect?

Naruto is a very long series that runs for about 15 years and has many strong characters. It would be difficult to put them all on this list. Characters like Shisui and Sakumo Hatake were legends who didn’t have enough screen time to be on the list.
