This article provides everything that is known about the Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld and everything you need to know about Season 4 part 2. And it will be updated over time with news, rumors, and analysis. Meanwhile, let’s get into the topic.

Sword Art Online has been one of the most loved anime series.  The recent season of the anime gave us a great experience. And it leads to the next season Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld, which has been entertaining anime fans in every episode.

The anime was premiered on October 12, 2019. And the second part will not be called at Sword Art Online season 4. Instead, it will probably belong to the   Sword Art Online: Unital Ring anime, which adapts the final story of the arc based on the Sword Art Online light novel series.

But the studio did complete the first part of the anime, and it left everyone filling them with excitement. Part one was ended with 12 episodes, so we can assume that season 4 part 2 may contain 12 chapters making it a whole of 24 episodes. Before getting to part two, let’s see what’s the summary of the Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld.

Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld Summary

Warning: There are minor spoilers in summary.

Sword Art Online: Alicization episode 24 was ended on a cliffhanger, which leads to the next season. All of the Integrity Knights are prepared for the battle against the dark territory.  But Kirito is still recovering from the aftermath of the fight against Administrator Quinella. Meanwhile, Alice takes care of him in this world; Asuna is more worried about Kirito.

Alice must gather all the human empire to save humanity from dark invasion. And  Asuna eventually dives into the underworld to protect Kirito and prevent the invaders from taking Alice. But the invaders trick the American gamers into joining the war. Unfortunately, the human empire of the underworld is outnumbered by the American beta testers. But then episode 12 gave us hope by making the entry of Sinon. And there’s the end of the first part.

The second part of season 3 release date has been confirmed for 2020:

As for part two, episode 13 will be released on January 18, 2020. It’s worth the wait because we haven’t seen Kirito in action since the last season. So, everyone is excited about it.

In the first 12 episodes, some moments made this season an incredible one. Such as the heartbreaking Asuna’s reunion with Kirito, Sinon is making the dive at the perfect time, and it gives the hope they can withstand the dark territory. Based on these, the next part is going to be a fantastic journey. And there might be doubts about whether there is season 4 or not. But as far as we know, Aniplex intends to adapt the entire SAO series into the anime. So, we can expect more from our beloved anime series.

The main question everyone needs to be answered is whether Kirito is going to change to his past self, or is he going to stay like that? That is not a hard one to answer. Because, if he doesn’t come back to his normal state, I’m pretty sure every SAO fan will be disappointed. So, such a good studio doesn’t make such a minor mistake. My theory is when the time comes, Kirito’s fluctlight will be fixed, and we can see our boy in action. But due to some issues, the upcoming episodes are going to premiere in a few weeks.

So, it won’t be long when we are back in our SAO world. Let’s hope this to be a high season ahead.
