Popular and the best-selling manga of 2021 Jujutsu Kaisen is planning a little surprise for us at the end of this year. To celebrate the premiere of its first anime film, it will be releasing a special “Volume 0.5” manga booklet.
The official title has been released to be Jujutsu Kaisen 0.5: Metropolitan Curse Technical School, and the booklet will be distributed to audiences at Jujutsu Kaisen 0 screenings in Japan. The total supplies are numbered to be 5 million copies.
The booklet will consist of a side story with nine pages which is penned by the author Gege Akutami, and it will be about the daily lives of Okkotsu and the first-year students.
Other sections will contain the storyboards from the first chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 manga (“The Cursed Child”), a Q & A with Akutami, and a few comments from the cast and staff.
There was also an additional announcement that midnight screenings will be available at these cities:
- Tokyo
- Osaka
- Kyoto
- Nagoya
- Fukuoka
- Miyagi
- Sapporo
