Jujutsu Kaisen season 2

A statement from the official website for the Jujutsu Kaisen anime revealed on Sunday that the anime’s second season will continuously air for half a year. The website has also revealed a new cool visual for the upcoming season. The second season of the anime will adapt the “Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu” arc and the “Shibuya Incident” arc.

Jujutsu Kaisen released in October 2020, consisting of 24 episodes. It also streamed in dubs in multiple foreign languages of English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese. Just a year ago the franchise also released an anime film titled Gekijo-ban Jujutsu Kaisen 0 which was exceptionally well met with fans and critics alike.

Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine launched the manga in March 2018, then Viz media published the first three chapters of the manga in English in Japan.

Synopsis:

“Yuji Itadori is just like any other average high schooler, but has immense physical prowess which is too unique and rare, hence every club in his school wants him to join them. Despite that, Itadori chooses to spend his time in the school rejects, the Occult Research Club. Some days later they find a cursed object, little do they know that it will become the reason which wreaks havoc on their so-called normal school life.”

In recent years, no anime has done what Jujutsu Kaisen has done, and that is to always surprise the audience and reject the usual tropes by following its own unique vision and storytelling. With such ethereal visuals, compelling episodes, stories and characters, Jujutsu Kaisen will bring larger than life entertainment and memorable moments for us fans all around the world. Let’s just wish we can skip directly to 2023.
