Legend of the Galatic Heroes is one of the successful classic franchises, and it has been on the run for over two decades now. In 2019, the franchise started releasing movie episodes, and the series is continuing!
The third season of Legend of the Galatic Heroes: Die Neue will be released in March 2022 as a three-part theatrical series. It consists of three parts, and they will be screening in the theatres on these dates:
- Legend of the Galatic Heroes: Die Neue These Gekitotsu Chapter 1 (March 4, 2022)
- Legend of the Galatic Heroes: Die Neue These Gekitotsu Chapter 2 (April 1, 2022)
- Legend of the Galatic Heroes: Die Neue These Gekitotsu Chapter 3 (May 13, 2022)
Each part will be screening in theatres for only three weeks, so for those who are eagerly waiting for the movies, make sure to watch them as soon as possible.
The plot is as follows:
In the distant future, former admiral Rudolf von Goldenbaum secretly stages a military coup to overthrow the Galatic Empire. But the Free Planets Alliance rebel against him to stop his plan once and for all.
So, these are the confirmed release dates for the movies, and just to remind you, the three films will be opening in theatres in Japan on March 4, April 1, and May 13, respectively.
