If you’re a fan of Hollywood movies, then Transformers is one series that you couldn’t have missed. With 7 extraordinary films, it made this decade to remain in Hollywood history. If not for its story, it is tremendous when it comes to presentation and graphics. And with the debut of Transformers animated series on December 26, 2007, it led to a series of these epic seven movie series. Now it will be back with its live-action film soon.
News website Deadline stated on Friday that Paramount Pictures has scheduled the live-action film of Transformers franchise for the next year and to be precise, on June 24, 2022. And notably, Paramount Pictures is developing two live-action films under the franchise. Bumblebee is the inspiration for one of those projects, which is the sixth and recent film of the series- Transformers.
The other project will follow the Beast Wars under the writer James Vanderbilt who is famous for his works on Murder Mystery and Independence Day: Resurgence. And the website also mentioned that it is still unclear which production studio will take the charge.

Transformers Animated Film- Prequel
According to the Hollywood Reporter website, the Paramount Animation and eOne Studio collaboratively producing a prequel animated film for the Transformers franchise. And the film might focus on the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron that takes place on Cybertron before they invade the earth. It seems like we can expect a worthy one after all.
An animated series is also in the queue under the production of Polygon Pictures and Rooster Teeth. And it is going to be titled as Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy: Siege. The series follows the story of the civil war that broke out during the war on Cybertron and some backstories as well. Transformers series of six episodes with an air time of 22 min will debut on Netflix this year and there is also a possibility for one more series with a title Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy: Earthrise.
