Makoto Shinkai‘s film Weathering With You is going to be released in U.K and Irish cinemas in coming days. In some venues, Shinkai’s previous film ”Your Name” is going to be shown along with Weathering With You on Jan 15, 2020. And Weathering With You will be opened on more venues on January 17, 2020. And the rest of the venues will have the film on January 30, 2020.
The tickets for the movie are available on the official site. And the screenings of the movie are both dubbed and subbed from January 17, 2020.
Since the movie is a major hit in the anime industry, the screenings of the movie have been increased. Weathering With You has been rated 7.8 out of 10 by IMDb.
Plot:
Highschool freshman Hodaka Morishima runs away from his home and moves to Tokyo and befriends a girl Hina in an attempt of saving her from shady men. And both struggle to financially support themselves. Hodaka himself has the job as a publisher though. Subsequently, Hodaka discovers that Hina a strange ability that manipulates the weather. And that’s how he makes Hina “The Sunshine Girl” who helps the people in need with her power. Things begin to favour them at first, but you know, everything comes with a price.

The director of the movie Shinkai is well known for his works 5 Centimeters per ,Garden of words(2013)and not to mention Your Name(2016). The animation of Weathering With You was done by Atsushi Tamura, famous for his works The Cat Returnsand Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin. And not to mention the characters are designed by the same designer of Your Name.
As for other than U.K and Irish, there is no detailed information on when Weathering With You is going be released. We have to wait a little more for it to be released in the remaining unreleased regions.
