haikyuu anime review

The beginning of this anime revolves around a particular character, Shoyo Hinata, who is a junior high student and encompasses the entire volleyball team of Karasuno for the rest of the show. A few episodes into the story, Hinata realizes his passion for volleyball after witnessing “Little Giant” and his exceptional skills on the court.

The volleyball club of Karasuno High School in Miyagi Prefecture has been in a slump ever since the “Little Giant” graduated. The former champion candidates, now called the “Crows with no wings,” suddenly see the rays of hope in their two first-year students, Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama.

Despite their distinct views, opinions, and skills in the volleyball game, they share the same hard-working spirit and ambition for victory. Though their relationship begins on the wrong foot in terms of competition, they overcome their differences and become one of the best, if not the best, pairs throughout the show. Memorable Characters

Haikyuu Anime Review!

The characters who take the spotlight throughout the show are all part of the Boys’ Volleyball team of Karasuno high school, composed of Daichi Sawamura, Asahi Azumane, Ryunosuke Tanaka, Yu Nishinoya, Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, Kei Tsukishima and many more.

The story of a young athlete named Shoyo Hinata, who wants to prove himself as a member of Karasuno High School’s volleyball team. Despite his physical vulnerabilities, Hinata has the knack for establishing himself amidst the best players, and his growth throughout the show leaves everybody in awe.

Tobio Kageyama is known as the “King of the Court” by his fellow mates because of his oppressive, egocentric attitude. Despite his overbearing perfectionist attitude, Kageyama was somewhat impressed by Hinata’s “never give up” perspective.

Daichi Sawamura, one of the starting wing spikers and the captain of the boys’ volleyball team at Karasuno, is a 3rd-year student. Unlike Kageyama, Sawamura is responsible, caring, and always puts his team first.

Yu Nishinoya, a second-year student at Karasuno High, serves as the libero for the school’s volleyball team. Despite his short stature, Nishinoya is fairly lauded because of his remarkable skills on the court.

A Perfect Blend of Action and Comedy, Sports and Friendship

Haikyuu Anime Review!

Haikyuu is a perfect blend of action and comedy, sports and friendship. The anime revolves around a high school volleyball club competing in the Nationals tournament yearly. The story follows Shouyou Hinata, who dreams of becoming a pro volleyball player; he joins Karasuno High School’s volleyball team as its first-ever member after failing grades three times.

In addition to being an exciting sports anime with plenty of twists along the way, it has some interesting themes explored through its characters, including friendship and love between classmates at school or parents’ wanting their child to do well in life.
