Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many dubs delayed by Funimation, including My Hero Academia and Black Clover. But they did promise us about the sub releases. And it sure seems to be right on the track with the schedule.
Funimation announced the news on Monday about streaming the ‘Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl‘ movie. According to Funimation, the streaming of the film takes place starting from Friday, April 17 to Monday, April 20. For the four days, the streaming continues for the movie according to the Eastern Time at 4.00 p.m. It is based on the light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida.
In 2019, Aniplex of America and Funimation streamed the anime ‘Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl‘ in the United States and Canada at the start of October. And the Blu-Ray version of the film is set to release in North America on June 30, 2020.
The film ‘Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl‘ came into the theatres on June 15, 2019, in Japan and earned #7 in its opening weekend. Total grossing of the film of 377 million Yen worldwide. It is a large sum of grossing since there haven’t been many theatres with its release. The run time of the film is 89 minutes, to be precise, one and a half an hour. The movie is based on the light novels of the adaption known as “The Young Pig-Rascal Isn’t Dreaming of a First-Love Girl,” specifically on sixth and seventh.

In Fujisawa, the skies are colorful, and the seas are beautiful. Sakuta Azusagawa lives in the city, and he is in his second year of high school. His cheerful days with his girlfriend and upper-class friends are interrupted when his first crush Shoko Makinohara appears. For some unknown reasons, he comes across two Shokos. In the midst of all this, his relationship with Mai and truth about the middle school Shoko keeps him in a dilemma.
