10. Arifureta: From Commonpace to World’s Strongest Place
Hajime Nagumo is summoned to a world of monster-full dungeons along with his classmates. However, he is given some average and underappreciated skills. How is he going to survive?
As for how you’ll like Tower of God if you hadn’t read the manga, it’s the same case with Arifureta. Sure, it isn’t as good as novels or manga, but if you’re looking for an anime like Solo Leveling, then this is a must-watch.

The story sets in a tower which consists of “Regulars” who get their powers on the basis of desires. Bam, a twenty-five-year-old boy who has only been in a dark cave, meets a girl named Rachel, and his entire life changes.
But Rachel decides to leave him behind to climb the Tower, and Bam isn’t going to live without her. Thus, he starts his journey to find Rachel, and in the process, he gets chosen by the Tower itself.
Manhwa readers might not like the adaptation, but if you didn’t read Tower of God manhwa, then you’ll like this anime for sure. It has an incredible storyline that can immerse you the whole time.
Like Sung Jin-woo, Bam is weaker in the beginning but later on, he turns out OP. So, it is definitely an anime like Solo Leveling, no matter how you look at it.

When a group of lizardmen surrounds him, he uses one of the “Meteor Showers” from the inventory to level up and instantly wipes them out. Thus, the epic adventure of Suzuki begins in an alternate world.
Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody is a pretty good anime to binge-watch if you loved Solo Leveling. Like Sung Jin-woo, Suzuki becomes overpowered with every episode, and he has his fair share of moments.
With a keen mix of fantasy and RPG, it fills you in an adventure of epic action scenes and a nice harem.
6. Overlord
Momonga stays in an MMORPG game that is about to shut down, and he wants to witness the final moments of the game he cherished more than his life. But surprisingly, it doesn’t shut down, but he is stuck in the game forever.
Now Momonga is the only player in the game with NPCs and nothing left to do, he decides to take over this world. Witness the journey of our overpowered main character as he encounters various rogues and beasts.
Overlord is one hella epic anime with an amazing and incredibly powerful main character. The leveling system and the personality of the character can relate to Sung-Jin-woo to an extent.
The best selling point of the anime is its story and how well it portrays each character. So, if you’re looking for anime like Solo Leveling, then definitely check this one out.

Soul Land is a Chinese anime/Donghua with a great blend of action and fantasy genres. It is a well-thought adventure story like Solo Leveling, and the similarity is, the MC becomes stronger the same way as Sung Jin-woo did.
Although it doesn’t follow the concept of system, the term “Cultivation” might help you to find out how the leveling concept has been used. In the end, it is an epic anime like Solo Leveling that you shouldn’t be missing out on.
4. My Hero Academia
Izuku Midoriya is born quirkless in a world where heroes protect and villains destroy. He admired the world’s greatest hero “Almight” and wanted to become like him and save people who can’t defend themselves.
With an encounter, he ends up catching Almight’s attention, and Almight gifts “One for All” to Midoriya. Finally, Midoriya joins the U.A academy to become the hero he always dreamt of.
You can disagree with me, but I would still say MHA is an anime like Solo Leveling. It might not have dungeons, a system that lets MC become stronger but does it matter if an approach is different?
In the anime, Midoriya gets stronger step by step by honing his quirk’s abilities and villains are pretty badass too. If you haven’t watched this anime yet, make sure you do.

To chase out the mystery behind the gate, a special team is formed and Youji Itami is a part of it. How’s their journey is going to be?
From the title, you can possibly guess what the anime is about. Yes, it is about a portal just like in Solo Leveling, and also quite adventurous, if I had to say. With a blend of isekai and action genres, it is worth the watch.
Probably, the light novel readers might say it isn’t as good. But if you’re looking for an anime like Solo Leveling, we suggest you watch this one.
2. The Rising of the Shield Hero
Naofumi Iwatani is summoned into another world as one of the heroes to save it from disasters. However, when he is betrayed by the princess of the kingdom, he decides to become strong and prove what a Shield Hero is!
You might’ve been wondering how “The Shield Hero” is similar to Solo Leveling. Simple, you can find an overpowered main character whom everyone sees as a useless hero as you did in Solo Leveling.
Both anime series have leveling up concepts where the MC becomes stronger from weak. Except that it is a bit different in this anime, regardless you’re bound to find it similar.
Keeping similarity aside, The Rising of the Shield Hero is an isekai gem that you shouldn’t be missing at any cost.

Danmachi is truly one kind of anime because it gives everything that an anime viewer desires, such as fantasy, action, comedy, romance, RPG world, and many more.
I bet you didn’t even find all these in Solo Leveling. In any way, with the world-building and dungeon concept, I can say that this is an epic anime like Solo Leveling.
